About Us

Deendayal Bahuuddeshiya Prasarak Mandal, Yavatmal (DBPM) is a Registered, Recognized Social Organization working since Year 1997 for the upliftment of Tribal Pardhi Community and for rehabilitation of suicide victim families of farmer and for the Comprehensive Development of ecofriendly and low cost agricultural practices to make the farming viable.

Paridhi Development

Pardhi is a tribe in India. The tribe is found mostly in Maharashtra and parts of Madhya Pradesh however small numbers can be found in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.To build trust for other communities, DBPM volunteers frequently visited the Pardhi habitations, participated in their cultural activities and helped them in difficulties faced by them with Govt. agencies, etc. DBPM concluded that in the process of their upliftment, the children education should be accorded top priority.


DBPM frequently visited the Pardhi habitations encouraging them for sending children to schools.Organization established Vivekanand Chhatravas at Yavatmal in the year 1997 where Paradhi children were provided hostel facilities with lodging, boarding and better atmosphere.


Health as major issue among the Pardhi Tribal community in district, DBPM organized several health checkup camps and Medicin Distribution under Keshav Arogya Rakshak Yojna

Self–Employment Project

DBPM had identified unemployed Pardhi youth in need of sustainable livelihood activity. Our aims is to provide financial assistance to Pardhi youth for small business like goat units, dairy animals, poultry broiler,all business, flour mill etc.

Farmer Development

Deendayal Bahuuddeshiya Prasarak Mandal (DBPM), Yavatmal has been working for more than a decade for sustainable rehabilitation of families of the farmers who committed suicides. We introduce Family Welfare Scheme (Kutumb Aadhar Yojna), Educational Project, Concealing project for rehabilitation of suicide affected families of the farmer.

Counselling Project

We with our experience and extensive interaction we feel that if some person or institutions remain in touch with the family the farmer may be motivated to explore options other than suicide.

Agro based livelihood project

With a view to create a conductive atmosphere among the farmers of the villages and thus refraining them from leaving the villages, Trainings, Workshops and Study Tours organized and professional guidance imparted to them regarding agricultural industries. This activity providing supplementary income to the farmers

Water Shade Project

Help needy, marginal farmers in drought affected areas, adopt rainwater harvesting techniques so they have a sustainable means of irrigation water throughout the year.
